Anthropic now lets any organization purchase Claude Enterprise directly on its website, no sales involvement needed. Get enterprise-grade AI — including Claude Code and Cowork — up and running same day.

Claude Enterprise Is Now Self-Serve

On February 12, 2026, Anthropic officially launched self-serve purchasing for Claude Enterprise. Previously, any organization wanting Enterprise required going through Anthropic's sales team — scheduling demos, negotiating contracts, and waiting weeks before gaining access. That process is now entirely optional.

Any organization can now visit claude.com/pricing/enterprise, enter their information, provide payment details, and start using Claude Enterprise the same day. The self-serve Enterprise plan accepts both credit cards and ACH bank transfers (US accounts), and setup — including SSO configuration and team invitations — typically takes under 30 minutes.

Why This Matters

The traditional enterprise sales cycle has long been a barrier for organizations wanting advanced AI capabilities without the overhead of extended vendor negotiations. For startups, mid-market companies, and international teams without a dedicated Anthropic sales relationship, getting access to features like audit logs, SCIM provisioning, and extended context windows often meant weeks of waiting.

With self-serve Enterprise:

  • Start today: No scheduling calls or waiting for quotes
  • Transparent pricing: Evaluate costs upfront on your own terms
  • Scale immediately: Add seats as your team grows without contract amendments
  • Global accessibility: Available regardless of whether your region has Anthropic sales coverage

Self-Serve vs. Sales-Assisted Enterprise: Key Differences

Self-serve is the right choice for most growing organizations. Sales-assisted Enterprise remains available for regulated industries (healthcare, finance) requiring HIPAA compliance, custom legal agreements, or high-touch onboarding support.

What's Included in Enterprise

Security & Compliance

  • Audit logs: Full record of user actions, system events, and data access patterns
  • SCIM provisioning: Auto-provision and deprovision users via Okta, Azure AD, or any SCIM 2.0 provider
  • Custom data retention: Set retention periods to match your compliance requirements
  • Compliance & Analytics API: Programmatic access to usage data for internal reporting

Extended AI Capabilities

  • Larger context windows: Up to 500K tokens with Claude Sonnet 4.6; 1M tokens in Claude Code
  • No per-seat usage limits: Pure usage-based billing means no artificial caps
  • Workplace connectors: Native integrations with Google Drive, Gmail, GitHub, Microsoft 365, and Slack

Unified Access Across All Tools

One Enterprise seat covers all three Anthropic products:

✅ Claude (web, desktop, mobile)
✅ Claude Code (agentic coding CLI)
✅ Cowork (desktop automation for non-developers)

Engineers get Claude Code for terminal-based AI-powered development; non-technical team members get Cowork for automated file and task management — all on a single seat.

Getting Started: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Visit the Enterprise Pricing Page

Navigate to claude.com/pricing/enterprise and click "Get started" or "Start now" to begin the self-serve signup flow.

Step 2: Enter Organization Details

Provide your company name, industry, and approximate team size. This information helps Anthropic optimize your workspace configuration.

Step 3: Select Seat Count and Payment

Choose how many seats you need and provide payment details. Note the two-part billing structure:

Seat fee (fixed): Per user/month, billed annually upfront

API usage (variable): Billed at standard API rates for actual token consumption

Example: Claude Sonnet 4.6 API pricing
Input: $3.00 per million tokens
Output: $15.00 per million tokens

You can set spending limits at both the organization and individual user level to prevent unexpected costs.

Step 4: Configure Your Workspace

After payment confirmation, immediately:

  1. Set up SSO with your identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, etc.)
  2. Configure access controls and usage policies
  3. Invite team members

Step 5: Deploy Claude Code and Cowork

Your Enterprise seat includes Claude Code and Cowork at no extra cost. Distribute them to your team:

# Install Claude Code (run on each team member's machine)
npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code

# Authenticate with your Enterprise workspace
claude auth login

For non-developers, direct them to download the Claude desktop app and enable Cowork mode from within the application.

Understanding the Pricing Model

Enterprise billing combines a predictable seat fee with usage-based API consumption. This structure is fundamentally different from consumer plans:

Consumer plans (Pro/Max): Fixed monthly fee, usage throttled at limits Enterprise plan: Seat fee for access + pay-as-you-go for usage, no throttling

For most organizations, this means:

  • Light users pay mostly the seat fee
  • Power users (engineers running Claude Code all day) pay proportionally more in API usage
  • Seasonal spikes don't break the budget — usage scales naturally

You can set per-user and org-level spend caps in the admin console to keep costs predictable.

The Bottom Line

Self-serve Enterprise removes the last major friction point in deploying Claude at scale. For organizations that want enterprise-grade security, compliance, and AI capabilities without the overhead of a traditional sales process, this is a significant step forward.

Choose self-serve Enterprise if you:

  • Need audit logs, SCIM, or extended context windows immediately
  • Want to start using Claude Code and Cowork across your whole team under one plan
  • Prefer transparent, usage-based billing you can control
  • Value speed of deployment over custom contract terms
